PARISH CEMETERIES BEAUTIFICATION
The churches in our parish are co-ordinating a fundraise for the
beautification of our four cemeteries. Money raised will go toward
the purchase of bulbs, plants and shrubs to be planted in the
churchyards and cemeteries.
• These items are especially chosen by Vesey's for fundraising. Some are only available in this catalogue, and are similarly priced or less expensive than Vesey's regular Fall Bulb Catalogue. PLUS, there's the added benefit that when you purchase bulbs for your garden from this program we earn 50% from every purchase!
All prices include shipping and HST. Cheques should be made out to your individual church (not the parish).
• Our local climate zones are 5B or 6A depending how close you are to the water, so all outdoor bulbs in this catalogue should be hardy.
• We'll be taking order up to Sunday, September 16 but, to make our task easier, please don't wait until the deadline to order! Delivery is expected sometime around Thanksgiving. The order comes to us in one large shipment and when it arrives we'll telephone and let you know when and where to pick up the bulbs you've purchased for your own garden.
• If you don't wish to make a purchase of bulbs for yourself please consider making a tax-deductible donation towards the beautification efforts to help us purchase bulbs; we'll be planting various Daffodils, Dutch Iris, Grape Hyacinths and Crocus this autumn. (Tulips, while beautiful, are just too tempting for the local deer.)
• Please mention this campaign to your family members and friends; if they live locally perhaps they'd like to purchase bulbs for themselves, or if they live "away" perhaps they'd like to make a donations toward the beautification in memory of loved ones.
